Below is an example of a letter that you can send to all 3 of the credit bureaus to have questionable items removed or investigated further. Make sure that you keep a copy for yourself when sending these letters to the credit bureau companies. Include any copies of proof that you have, such as copies of checks or statements of paid off accounts.

Important Tip: Remember to send your letters by certified mail. This will give you the best chance at having your letter viewed before others. They are overloaded with over 20,000 letters a day, your letter needs to stick out.
